In cheesy 3D,
Harold and Kumar are back
Coming early this holiday season is A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas. I enjoyed the first one, the second had its moments, but this holiday entry into the series looks to be a cash grab by the studio, especially with the 3D tag.
Do comedies really need 3D effects? Most of the effects from the trailer are from things being thrown at the camera, like bad 80s 3D films. And while the first two had clear goals (get to White Castle, escape Guantanamo), this one looks to just throw a bunch of stonerific stuff together in hopes of getting a laugh.
A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas opens November 4th, likely to avoid more serious holiday competition.
